... how is he going to fit into a team that plays ball to feet?
Wasn't that the reason that Liverpool got rid of him?
He'd be good to bring on with 25 mins to go if we're losing, but i'm not sure what else.

First not all games are going to be against Norwich.
Second Carrolls passes quiet well
Third, a whole lot of Payet's assists last year were a result of the head of Gignac.
Will be nice to have the option.

Carroll can play on the floor but did you actually bother to watch the last half hour?? If you did did you not notice the quality balls crossed into the box? How will Andy copy with them huh

I did watch it and saw a lot of pace with balls to feet. Fair enough though.

I don't buy into any of the theories about this season that include "When Andy Carroll is fit..."
Buy Hernandez or similar, if the money/opportunity is there, and try and get someone else in on loan.

Match fit ,he will almost certainly be in the matchday squad .
He will start matches when his presence is needed at the start

Yeah, I was thinking of the way Gignac got on the end of Payet's crosses.
Hope Carroll can get fit and do the same.

He'll fit in easy. We haven't banned crossing and headers, and he can play with it as his feet as well.
He'll be a handful in the box if we are pressing high up giving him support, rather than long balls for him to deal with on his own.

He's our best striker when fit and on form, he'll fit in easily.

Carroll's an excellent player. Why wouldn't he fit in? Wish people would stop questioning Carroll as a player. Yes, it's frustrating how much time he's spent injured, but he is a fucking great player.

Off the top of my head I can't think who he scored against around november time, but he controlled the ball with his feet,span around and fired a shot from the edge of the box all without any use of the head. Cracking goal..

Good finish against Leicester too after Konchesky accidentally put him through on goal. There is more to Carroll's game than aerial prowess and physicality.
